Mehbooba expresses anguish over killing of children in Pak shelling

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbboba Mufti today expressed grief and anguish over the killing of children in cross-border shelling by Pakistan along the LoC in Poonch district of the state.
“It is very unfortunate that these teenagers became victims of fire power when they were yet to understand the nuances of politics,” she said in a statement issued here. Mehbooba has directed the district administration to ensure specialised treatment to the people injured in the shelling.
Two minors were killed and 12 civilians injured in the cross-border shelling by Pakistan along the LoC in the district today.
