Hebri: In the backdrop of heavy rains and strong winds, huge trees were uprooted at Kabbinale Mattavu which brought down electricity poles with their fall. Altogether 6 poles were broken while 19 poles suffered damage.
Even though there was continuous rain, Mescom staff nonetheless trudged bearing the load of the new electricity poles on their shoulders and reached the location where the damaged poles lay and conducted repair works.
