Mangaluru: In another case of human apathy, a labourer was left to writhe in pain after being involved in a freak mishap at Mangaluru International Airport as people who gathered around him kept video-recording the incident.
The injured, reportedly sustained leg injuries when a piece of marble brought for maintenance work at Mangaluru International Airport, fell on him while unloading them from a lorry on Tuesday. Instead of arranging for medical help for the man, people gathered around him were seen recording the incident on their mobiles.
Fortunately for the worker, a cab driver named Mahesh who happened to be at the airport to pick up a passenger rushed to his rescue and took him to the AJ hospital.
