Minibus hits pedestrians at Charmadi ghat; two injured

Belthangady: A minibus crashed into pilgrims travelling to Dharmasthala for Shivaratri at Charmadi ghat on the Mangaluru-Villupuram national highway.
Two pedestrians were seriously injured while ten others sustained minor injuries.
The accident occurred on the second turn of the Charmadi ghat. Social worker Hasanabba and locals helped to transport the injured to a private hospital in Ujire.
