Missing trawler case: Navy found a rock, not the wreckage

Udupi: The navy which found an object submerged in the water, using SONAR in its search to find the missing deep sea trawler ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’ at Malwan region in Maharashtra, turned out not to be the parts of the missing trawler. The object found, was a rock beneath the sea, informed SP Laxman B Nimbaragi.
Suvarna Tribhuja was 23 meters long. The rock is 2 meters long. The search operations have carried on near here itself.
Till now, other than the fish storage boxes, no part of the mysteriously missing deep sea trawler has been found. The roof of a cabin had been found, but the fishermen assured that t did not belong to the missing trawler. Hence, an investigation is being carried in connection to it by the coast guard’s Karwar SP, he informed.
