Missing Tumkur University professor’s dead body found in decomposed state

Tumkur: The decomposed body of a 57-year-old man was found in the HMT forest area here on Thursday, January 10.
The victim, Eshwar, a professor at Tumkur University had gone missing a month ago. His body was found hanging from a tree in the forest area and it is suspected that he might have had hanged himself.
On December 9, 2018, Eshwar had gone out for a morning walk but did not return home. His disappearance gave rise to a lot of suspicions and family members even accused his colleagues of torturing him.
A case has been registered with New Extension police and probe is on.
