Missing woman’s decomposed body found in water tank of apartment complex

Bengaluru: The decomposed body of a woman who went missing on Friday was found inside the water tank of the apartment complex where she resided.
The deceased identified as Gauri Nagaraj a resident of SMIG apartment in Yelahanka Newtown here allegedly ended her life by jumping into the water tank.
Unaware of this the apartment residents continued to use the water from the tank for all their daily needs including drinking purposes. However when they noticed a foul smell coming from the water they called a plumber to check and clean the tank.
At this time, they found her decomposed body.
As per the police, Gauri who was a real estate agent had left a death note blaming Jayasurya developers for her extreme step. She had alleged that she had given money collected from her customers to Jayasurya developers but they in turn did not give her the promised sites nor returned the money.
The police have summoned the suspects for investigation on the basis of the death note.
