Missing youth alleged to have deserted family found dead in TN

Mangaluru: In a twist of events, a missing youth from Ganjimutt who it was alleged deserted his family as he was involved in an extramarital affair has been found dead in Tamil Nadu.
The deceased Mohammed Sameer’s body has been identified by his brother.
On September 13 Sameer along with his wife Firdaus and three-month-old daughter had gone to Bengaluru in connection with some work. He had even spoken to his mother over the phone on September 15 and everything seemed fine till then. However, on September 18, Firdous and her daughter returned to her parent’s house at Kaup.
In the missing complaint, filed by Sameer’s father Ahmed Saheb at Bajpe police station, it is mentioned that Firdaus alleged Sameer of deserting her for some other woman.
Meanwhile, after the recovery of Sameer’s body, Firdaus has come under the radar of suspicion and it is believed that she might have murdered Sameer with the help of an accomplice.
Investigations are ongoing.
