Missing youth found dead at Karinja

Moodbidri: Two youth who went missing during a trek at Karinja Hills were found dead on Thursday.

Praveen Tauro (32) and Greshion Rodrigues (32) had visited Karinja hills on March 20. On Wednesday, family members had filed a missing complaint.

Moodbidri police along with the forest department conducted a search operation around Karinja hillock.

After an intense search operation, the bodies were found among dense shrubbery in Karinja.

It is suspected that they might have got electrocuted by high-tension wires, as their bodies seemed to have sustained burn injuries.
