M’luru: 13-yo boy dies by suicide at grandfather’s house

A 13-year-old boy allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself from a tree at his grandfather’s house in Soorinje on Monday, February 13.

The deceased Harshit, a resident of Katipalla was a student of a private school at Krishnapura near Surathkal

On Saturday, after attending school Harshit had gone to stay at his grandfather’s house for the weekend. On Monday morning, however, he was found hanging dead from the tree.

The reason for the suicide is not yet known.

A case has been registered with Surathkal police and an investigation is ongoing.
