M’luru: Two arrested for threatening ASHA worker

Bantwal: An ASHA worker identified as Tulasi (48) was threatened by two family members of home quarantined persons.
Nitesh and Jayant had returned from abroad and are under home quarantined. Tulasi had called to enquire about their health.
Later, two relatives of the home quarantined, Marappa Poojary and Umesh, called Tulasi and threatened to kill her.
A case was immediately registered at the Bantwal town police station and the two relatives were arrested.
