Modi, BSY govts are snatching lives & livelihoods of our farmers: Surjewala

Bengaluru: Newly-appointed AICC General Secretary in-charge of Karnataka Randeep Singh Surjewala on Sunday, September 27 said that Karnataka Congress will support the Bandh Call given by Farmer Organisations tomorrow (Monday, September 28).

Taking to Twitter Surjewala wrote, ” Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister o Karnataka BS Yeddyurappa governments are snatching the lives and livelihoods of our farmers.”

“The diabolical amendments to Land Reforms Act and APMC Act are proof of conspiracy to enslave our farmers. Karnataka Congress supports the ‘Bandh Call’ given by Farmer Organisations tomorrow” he added.
