Modi will become another Hitler if you vote him to power: Mallikarjun Kharge

Bidar: Veteran Congress leader, Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday, April 3 requested people of Bidar not to vote BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and thus, stop Narendra Modi from becoming another Hitler and imposing an authoritative rule on the country.

Addressing a rally to mark the filing of nomination papers by Congress candidate for Bidar, Eshwar Khandre, Mallikarjun Kharge said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already shown enough streaks of a dictator and if the people vote for him in the coming Lok Sabha elections no one can stop him from becoming a Hitler.

Kharge further explained that Hitler also got elected through a democratic process, but later turned dictator. This could be repeated in India if BJP wins the coming Lok Sabha elections.

“Wherever he goes, Modi asks what is the contribution of the Congress to the country since Independence? Modi does not speak much in Parliament – he spoke for only 25 hours and 25 minutes on the floor – but outside he speaks a lot.” Kharge said.

He also blamed BJP by saying that it is BJP who is trying to destroy whatever good that has been done by us by instigating fights between communities, lynching of Dalits and Muslims, shooting at the effigy of Mahatma Gandhi and so on.

Has Modi sanctioned any railway project, set up an airport in Bidar or brought an amendment to confer special status on the region? , he questioned.

Seven-phased elections in the country will begin on April 11 and go on till May 19. Counting of votes will be done on May 23.
Karnataka will go to polls on April 18 and 23.
