Moodbidri: A bike rider died on the spot after being hit by a borewell-drilling truck at Kompadavu here on December 20.
The deceased has been identified as Chandrashekhar Gowda hailing from Macchur Kana. He was returning home after visiting the Kudupu temple when the collision occurred.
A case has been filed at the Moodbidri police station.
