Moodabidri: Rickshaw driver delivers lost docs and medicines in time

Moodabidri: A rickshaw driver from here has won hearts after delivering important medicines and medical documents to the home of the patient who had forgotten it in his rickshaw.

Tousif, the rickshaw driver, found medical papers and some very important and life-saving medicines in his rickshaw. It belonged to a person who had recently undergone an angioplasty.

Tousif contacted the physician, Dr Padmanabh Kamath, mentioned in the papers. A housekeeping staff, Mrs Bharathi Suraj, at the physicians found the details of the patient and informed the patient about it. She also shared the patient contact details with Tousif.

Tousif reached the patient’s home and delivered the essential medicines and documents to the patient.

Tousif’s steadfast effort even during the time of restrictive lockdown was much appreciated by all.
