Moral policing: Inter-faith couple waylaid

Puttur: In yet another incident of ‘moral policing’ in Dakshina Kannada, an interfaith couple was attacked by members of Hindu organizations on a train.
The incident took place while the couple was traveling from Subramanya to Mangaluru.
The members of Hindu organizations got on the train from Puttur and tried to assault the man. Meanwhile, the woman in question got down from the train at Kaniyoor.
The police, after learning about the incident detained a few youths for investigation.
