Moorje Sunita Prabhu chosen for PM Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Award

Mangaluru: Moorje Sunitha Prabhu from Belthangady has been chosen for the Pradhan Mantri Bal Puraskar in recognition of her Phoenix achievement. he ward list was announced by the Union ministry of women and child welfare.

She will receive the award from President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 22. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and a citation.

An alumnus of SDM CBSE School in Ujire, Sunitha Prabhu who is now studying at CFAL Institute, had represented India in the 80th Science and Technology Fair held in Phoenix.

She will have the opportunity, along with her parents, to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries at the Republic Day function on January 26.
