‘Mute Video’ feature on WhatsApp for Android Beta users

WhatsApp is rolling out the ‘mute video’ feature for its beta testers on Android.

According to reports, this new feature might also appear in the previous update but is recommended to update the latest 2.21.3.13 beta update to enjoy this feature.

This new option will be available on the ‘ edit video’ section.

This new feature comes in handy when you don’t want to listen to audio in a video call. Mute video option wasn’t available to test as it was under development but now the Android Beta users can test out the feature.

WhatsApp has been reported to working on a feature called “mention badge” for group chats. As per reports, the feature will come in handy in group chats where one could use it to tag people.
