Mysterious disappearance of Bengali student: Parent return home empty handed

Mangaluru: The parents of Abhijith Dey, a student from West Bengal, who mysteriously went missing at Kuloor a week back after he had come here seeking admission in a college, returned back home empty handed, after searching for their missing son for 10 days but to no avail.
After finishing B.Com, Abhijith Dey had come to Mangaluru on July 25th, to seek admission at Manipal to pursue M.Com and on July 27th, his father Dev Kumar and mother had arrived. Abhijith had received his parents at Mangaluru International Airport and along with them, was travelling towards Manipal in a taxi when they stopped the taxi at Kuloor for tea brake. But, when the father came out of the hotel after paying the bill, Abhijith had disappeared.
The next day, Abhijith’s brother Debjith came to Mangaluru. Along with Kavoor police, Debjith and his parents searched for Abhijith, but to no avail. Finally, the defeated parents left for Bengaluru on August 4th and on Sunday, travelled back to Kolkata.
