Mysuru: Multiclass Sailing Championship 2021 to be held at KRS dam from Aug 26

Mysuru: A national-level sailing competition will be held at Krishnaraja Sagar dam near Mysuru from August 26 to 31.
The grand opening ceremony of the Championship will be held on August 27, which will be a spectacle of 75 sailboats participating in a sail parade.
The championship, accredited as a national ranking event, under the aegis of Yachting Association of India (YAI), is being hosted by ‘Trishna Yacht Club’ administered by the Madras Engineer Group & Centre in association with GETHNAA (General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure).
The event will be attended by as many as 12 clubs from all over the country with about 150 sailors, coaches and support staff.
The YAI plans to make the event an annual feature in the national sailing sports calendar.
