Mysuru Railway Station one of the top 10 clean stations in Indian Railways

Mysuru: In punctuality for running Mail/Express and Passenger trains in the nation Mysuru division, South Western Railway(SWR) stands fourth with a general normal of 97.6% and Mysuru railroad station is among the top 10 cleanest railway stations in the nation, said Atul Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru division, SWR. 

After the inauguration of the 63rd railroad week festivity for the year 2017-18 and giving away the honors to outstanding employees of 14 different departments for the year 2017-18 at Railway Kalyanamantap here on Wednesday, Atul Gupta stated, “The division has won effectiveness shields for Operations and Personnel departments. Mysuru division recorded a development of 7.96% in the traveler profit contrasted with last financial year. With regards to health, during the year 2017-2018 there had been 72% lessening in accidents contrasted with last financial year. Just a single minor accident, with no harm or loss of property was accounted for. He also said “Cleanliness is a standout amongst the most important highlights of Mysuru Division, SWR and it has been evaluated among the top 10 clean stations in Indian Railways. Vertical garden was made in the concourse zones. Aside from this, amid the monetary 2017-2018, two trains were upgraded from passenger train to express train and three express trains are upgraded into Super fast Train properly accelerating the speed and four new trains were likewise added by the division”

256 appointments were made through RRB, RRC, Compassionate Grounds, Liberalized Active Retirement Scheme for Guaranteed Employees and under Sports Quota and 1132 employees promoted through departmental choice in the financial year. The division’s Innovation Cell was advanced with the fundamental target to advance development among the workers. 

79 Meritorious Railway Employees were honoured with individual awards. One officer and ten employees of Mysuru Division have been perceived and will be awarded for their meritorious services by General Manager at Zonal level during Railway week celebrations which will be held at Head Office in Hubli on April 20.
