Newly-married lady goes missing suddenly

Bantwal: A newly-married woman disappeared all of a sudden and a case in this connection has been filed at Vitla police station in the taluk on Tuesday August 27. Apparently, the lady has left behind a letter expressing her disinclination to live with her husband.
The missing woman is identified as who went away from her husband has been identified as Malini (23), wife of Mutturaj Malligewada living at Ukkuda Padibagilu near Vittal. Mutturaj is a native of Laxmeshwar taluk of Gadag district.
Mutturaj married Malini three months back and the couple was living in a rented house at Kallakatta near Vitla. Mutturaj has been serving at Padibagilu government school since the last three years.
On Tuesday August 27, Mutturaj returned home after duty only to find his wife missing at home. His attempts to search her revealed a letter in which the lady had mentioned that she had found it impossible to live with her husband and therefore was going away.
Based on Mutturaj’s statement, Vitla police have registered a case and are investigating.
