NH, Railway line Projects in Kodgu Won’t Hurt Environment: MP Pratap Simha

Madikeri: Kodagu-Mysuru Lok Sabha MP Pratap Simha assured the people not to concern about upcoming two development projects in Kodagu district including national highway (NH) and railway projects. Speaking at an executive meeting in Dr Ambedkar Bhavan of the town, MP said, existing national highways will be developed under the proposed NH project while a new railway line will be established between Mysuru and Kushalnagar of the district.

No trees will be cut down for the two new proposed projects in Kodagu and people have been urged not lend their ear to hearsays which create concern over the projects, MP said.
