NIRF Raking: Gogte Institute of Technology Listed in Top 15 Engg Colleges of Karnataka

Belagavi: As per the ranking by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) constituted by Union Ministry for Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) stands in top 15 engineering colleges and MBA at GIT in top 8 management colleges in Karnataka.
Across India only 200 colleges in engineering and 100 colleges in management stream could get rank out of nearly 2000 institutes. At the National Level KLSGIT (Engineering) placed in 200 best colleges and MBA at GIT stands at best 100 management colleges.
NIRF has given the ranking on the framework approved by the MHRD. This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover ‘Teaching, Learning and Resources,’ ‘Research and Professional Practices,’ ‘Graduation Outcomes,’ ‘Outreach and Inclusivity’ and ‘Public Perception’.
