No decision yet on reopening of schools: Edu Min

Bengaluru: Minister of Education S Suresh Kumar on Saturday stated that the state government has not yet taken any decision on the reopening of schools in the state.

“In the present scenario (COVID-19 pandemic), the government has not taken any decision on school reopening. Safety of children is our responsibility,” Suresh Kumar tweeted.

In the tweet the minister also urged parents not to heed to fake news.

His clarification came in the backdrop of a few media reports regarding the reopening of schools.
