North Karnataka observes bandh today

Hubbali: The Uttar Karnataka Raitha Sangh said they will be observing the bandh across 13 districts today.
Raitha Sangha president Basavaraj Karigar said that he received a positive response from 23 organisations for the bandh call today.
However if sources are to be believed, many other organizations asserted that they have withdrawn support for the bandh as they were satisfied with assurances handed out by CM Kumaraswamy.
Members of a few organisations staged a protest in Haveri to express their support for the bandh on Wednesday.
