Bengaluru: The violence that erupted in Bengaluru was due to political conspiracy and not just because of a Facebook post, said accused Naveen’s father Pavan Kumar.
“In case my son did any mistake, he should be legally punished. There is no one above the law,” he reportedly said.
“It is not a big thing to share such post in social media, but it should not have led to such big violence. Political party’s maliciousness is behind this,” he opined.
Reportedly, the accused Naveen has confessed to the police that he shared the derogatory post on Facebook.
The police have arrested 206 accused so far and investigating the case.
