Official inauguration of two new taluks on Aug 15th

- Moodbidri-Kadaba taluks to function independently
Mangaluru: Moodbidri and Kadaba taluks will be officially inaugurated on August 15 and start functioning independently, informed district in-charge minister U T Khader on Thursday, August 2nd.
The minister addressed media and said,”Moodbidri and Kadaba were announced as separate taluks long back, but had not started functioning administratively. The two taluks will be officially inaugurated on August 15th,” he confirmed.
He spoke on the incessant rainfall that caused much damage In the coastal districts and said,” Eleven people have lost lives due to the rain for which Rs 45 lac compensation has been distributed. As many as 1,014 houses were damaged and Rs 19 lac has been distributed as compensation.”
94C and 94CC title deeds
“A total of 95,714 applications were received under 94C of which 81,077 applications have been disposed. Under 94CC, a total of 35,650 applications were received of which 24,599 have been disposed,” he said.
“I have got the opportunity to serve as district in-charge minister. Focus will be on overall development of the district without any politics which will hurdle development. We will do development works as a team involving officials of all departments and people representatives,” affirmed Khader.
A website of Hindu religious and charitable endowment department (www.dkannadatemple.com) was also released by Mr. Khader on this occasion.
