Ola and Uber cab drivers assaulted by airport taxi drivers at MIA

Mangaluru: In an untowardly incident that occurred at the Mangaluru airport today(Wednesday), armed taxi drivers at the airport are said to have assaulted Ola and Uber Cab drivers and even resorted to damaging their vehicles.
The incident took place near the airport entrance when the Ola and Uber Taxi drivers had arrived here to submit a memorandum to Airport Authority officials seeking permission for picking passengers from the airport. Over 25 Ola and Uber drivers were injured in the assault of which two persons are critical. All the injured have been shifted to the hospital
A case has been registered at Bajpe station.
