One killed, three injured in bus-car collision

Udupi: One person was killed and three others were injured after a bus collided with a car at Beedinakere near Padubidri.

The deceased is identified as Nikshitha (21), a resident of Kuppepadavu. The injured are Gurukiran, Dhanush (23) and Harshini (17).

As per the sources, Baleno car which was plying towards Udupi from Mangaluru collided head-on with a private bus coming from the opposite direction.

The four occupants of the car sustained injuries while Nikshitha died on the way to the hospital other three are undergoing treatment there, informed sources.

A case in this regard has been registered with the Padubidri police.
