One more girl dies after being attacked by stray dogs

Tumkuru: An 11 year old girl was killed after she was attacked by stray dogs at Kunigal, Tumakuru district.

The deceased has been identified as Thejaswini class 6 student.

The police said revealed that when the victim was walking on the street she was attacked by a pack of stray dogs.

She suffered grievous injuries to her arms and face, the Kunigal police said.

“There was no one around to rescue her from the dogs. She was bitten on both arms and also had injuries on her face,” a police source said.

Divya Gopinath, Superintendent of Police, Tumakuru, said the autopsy would confirm the cause of death. The girl’s body was taken to Kunigal Taluk Government Hospital for the post-mortem.
