PAC Finds Rs 176.19 Cr Mishandled by 3 Separate Govt Departments in Karnataka

Bengaluru: In audit report prepared by Public Accounts Committee (PAC) led by MLA R Ashoka has found that officials of Karnataka state Social Welfare Department mishandled Rs 135 crore fund followed by Rs 1.81 crore by Urban Development Department and Rs 39.38 crore by Minor Irrigation Department.
Speaking on the report prepared by the PAC committee in the state assembly session on Monday, R Ashoka PAC which audited accounts of the concerned departments, ministries found that the funds as above explained were mishandled by the officials while implementing various projects of the concerned departments.
