Padubidri: Driver killed as mud-laden tipper topples on him

Padubidri: A man was killed after a mud-laden tipper toppled on him near Nandikur on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Harish Kotian (37), driver of the tipper.
It is said that on Sunday morning Harish was trying to unload the damp mud from the tipper, despite lifting the hydraulic jack, the wet soil did not slide from the bin.
Harish then left the engine on and went to unscrew the bolt at the back of the tipper. During which the vehicle fell on him and he died on the spot.
A case has been registered at Padubidri police station.
