New Delhi/Bengaluru: The Union Cabinet which is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the granting of Scheduled Tribe status to Parivara and Talavara communities on Wednesday.
The Cabinet has approved the plea by Karnataka government to consider the Parivara and Talavara communities under Scheduled Tribe list since they are identical to Nayakas.
