Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has directed employers in organised and unorganised sectors to ensure that salary is disbursed to staffers under quarantine because of COVID-19 infection.
The order specifies that it is deemed effective right from the day the state went under lockdown. The state’s labour department has been asked to ensure effective implementation of the order.
A bench headed by Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka disposed of this PIL after the order was taken on record
