Police arrest inter-faith couple found in lodge

Sullia: Activists of pro Hindutva organization have handed over to the police a couple, belonging to different religions who had taken a room in a private lodge at Subrahmanya near here on Thursday night.
After taking the couple into custody, the cops questioned the couple and later asked the parents of the couple to report to the police station.
The gathering of activists belonging to pro-Hindu organizations created a tense situation outside the police station for some time. The police station has not yet received any complaint in this connection.
