Police jeep rams into grocery store; woman injured

Belthangadi: A woman sustained injuries after a police vehicle rammed into a grocery store at Naravi in the taluk here on Thursday morning.
It is gathered that the driver of Bolero jeep, headed towards Bengaluru, lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a roadside grocery shop here injuring a woman at the shop. She was immediately rushed to Karkala Government Hospital.
Shop owner Ramesh escaped unhurt in the mishap. The shop, however, has been damaged due to the collision.
