Police nabbed two youth in connection with several shootout cases

Mulky: City Crime Branch police arrested two youth in connection with three shootouts carried out on the orders of underworld don, Kali Yogish.

The accused have been identified as Manoj Kunder (35) and Chandrashekar (32).

The police have seized two pistols, seven live cartridges and two mobile phones from the accused.

Addressing the media police commissioner T R Suresh, the accused are involved in shootouts at Shri Rajashri Jewellers, Kinnigoli under Mulky police station limits on December 7 and at M Sanjeev Shetty Silk and Sarees, Car Street under Mangaluru North police station limits on December 8. The accused are also said to be involved in a shootout where they fired at entrepreneur Nagaraj’s house’s windows and car at Mulky on December 23.
