Police register FIR against BJP MP Anant Kumar Hegde for assaulting doctor

Sirsi: The police have registered an FIR against BJP Member of Parliament Anant Kumar Hegade for assaulting a doctor at TSS Hospital. The police on Thursday night registered a case against MP and started inquiry on the incident.
FIR has been registered under violence, destruction of hospital properties as directed by the senior officials of the police department. Market PSI Raghu Kanade filed an FIR under IPC sections 323, 341, and 504. Both Anant Kumar Hegde and Krishna Esale are the accused in the case registered. The incident is a non-bailable crime and accused can be sent to jail for three years with a fine of Rs 50, 000, if the crime is proved in the court.
