Fitness tracking gadgets are already on huge demand and after the lockdown experts predict surge in sales of the gadgets
The pandemic has triggered a wave of health awareness as people are becoming more conscious. Also, health gadgets let people monitor their body temperature, bp and sugar levels which makes them feel protected and restore their sense of control.
Experts claim that people after lockdown will adopt a healthy lifestyle and will rely on health gadgets. CrucialTec Co , company which manufactured thumb sized thermometer dongle had no sales and used to give away the products as a gift to clients. But after the viral outbreak orders came pouring in it is now ramping up production of the thermometer.
Aibi, which produces and distributes treadmills and elliptical trainers, also shared that its sales have increased by up to 300 percent in Singapore. Also, French sportswear and sports equipment chain Decathlon noted a 43 percent increase in sales of home fitness products, particularly those related to yoga, cross training and bodybuilding.
