Udupi: Former Minister Pramod Madhwaraj may be the JD(S) candidate from the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency hinted Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Monday, March 18.

Addressing pressperson Kumaraswamy said ” Pramod Madhwaraj is our own man, not an outsider. The decision on whether to field Pramod Madhwaraj from Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency as a JD(S) will be taken soon.”

Pramod Madhwaraj speaking about his candidature said that if at all he contests the Lok Sabha election from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency it will be from Congress and JD(S) and not JD(S) alone because it is an alliance.

He further said that “I don’t want the Congress and JD(S) to be like water and oil. I want both the parties to be like milk and honey.”
