Udupi: Sri Rama Sena will organise state wide protest on July 02 against Iftar organised at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha on June 24. After a meeting with Pejawar Seer Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji at Udupi on Monday, Sri Rama Sena leader Pramod Muthalik speaking to the media persons said, an Iftar organised by Pejawar Seer at Udupi Sri krishna Matha on Saturday hurts the feelings of Hindus as seer allowed the muslim community members for Namaz in the math. A temple or math shouldn’t permit muslims to enter its premises as it violates customs, traditions of the Hindu religion and spreads wrong message to Hindu community, Muthalik added.

Muthalik further said that, as beef eaters muslims shouldn’t have entered Sri Krishna Matha where cow protector lord Sri Krishna is present. Muthalik further said that, he has already obtained the support of other Hindu organisation for his state wide bandh called on July, 02. As per the media reports, Sri Rama Sena and other Hindu organisations are expected to hold protests in each and every district head quarter of Karnataka state.

Meanwhile, reacting to the objections made by Muthalik, Pejawar Seer said, “Muthalik is trying to destroy harmony between the two communities by objecting Iftar and Muthalik doesn’t know anything about Hindu religion”.
