Prefer safety over fear, avoid any misconception about Covid-19: Janardhan Poojary

Bantwal: “Do not have any false misconception about Covid-19, think of it as a common disease which can be eradicated. Do not let fear of Covid-19 take over your health,” Said former Union Minister Janardhan Poojary

Speaking about Covid-19 fear, he said, “Earlier also there have been several diseases like Covid-19 and it has been eradicated. Even covid-19 will be eradicated. So, people should not get scared of the disease instead must fight with it”

“ Also,  covid-19 patients must not be treated like untouchables as  those with symptoms may also not mention it due to the fear of being treated badly”, he added

Speaking on the safety measures, Poojary said, “ Prefer safety over fear. Wear masks while going out. Maintain social distance and avoid unnecessary travel. If you have any symptoms, go to the nearest Covid-19 hospital and get yourself checked”
