Mangaluru: During emergency, one was forced to wait for hours on together for the arrival of an ambulance. But henceforth, it won’t be so. On pressing a button on the mobile, the ambulace will arrive within minutes. Even paramedics will come!

An app aptly named as ‘Saviour’ has been created by the team under the leadership of Mangaluru KMC hospital Dr Manish Rai in association with Codecradft Technologies founder Deekshit Rai. The app is linked with 9 hospitals in Mangaluru.

Health officer Dr Ramakrishna Rao spoke at the press meet at DK district Health Officer’s office and said that a convention has been organized by Saviour in association with the Deputy Commissioner’s office at the town hall on September 16th, to get eligible candidates to maintain the app, for the induction of volunteers and to provide them with training. Workshops will be held to give training on the application to the hospitals. More than 300 people will be trained.

Functioning of the App

The hospitals which have linked with the Saviour app include Attavr KMC, Jyothi KMC, Yenepoya hospital, K S Hegde hospital, A J hospital, Kanachur hospital, Wenlock hospital, Fr Muller hospital and Alvas hospital.
