Prez Ram Nath Kovind to visit Udupi on Dec 27

Udupi: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Udupi on December 27 to attend a programme, organised to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Sanyasi Deeksha of Pejawar Swamiji.

The felicitation programme is being organised by union minister for water resources Uma Bharati, who looks up to the Seer as her guru. 

Meanwhile, the district administration and police officials held a meeting at the deputy commissioners office here on December 11 to discuss the elaborate preparations, including special security arrangements to be made for the Presidents visit and the programme which is likely to be attended by several dignitaries from across the country.
