Mangaluru: Medical tourism is vital and priority needs to be given to medical tourism in Mangaluru. A medical tourism hub should be built in the city, said MLA Vedavyas Kamath, speaking at the inauguration of the SCS Institute for Gastrointestinal and Liver Disorders.
The MLA said that Mangaluru is advancing in the field of medical science. Hence there is ample opportunity to promote medical tourism here.
“Dakshina Kannada has more than 100 hospitals and seven medical colleges. It is a pride that the district has advanced in the health sector,” said Mr Kamath.
