PU board exams: Two debarred on first day

Bengaluru: On the first day of second year Pre University board exams two students of Ramanagara district were debarred from taking their exams for alleged malpractice.
A total of 1,92,669 students had appeared for Physics paper while 4,654 remained absent. 3,56,295 students appeared for Economics exams and 21,089 were absent.
Reportedly, students who attempted the physics and economics papers found the papers relatively easier than the previous year.
Although the exam was conducted on time, the department found out that many invigilators had arrived late for the examination.
