‘Public centre’ for collection of relief materials for flood victim

  • Relief materials collection for flood victims from 9:00 AM to 6:30 pm at Karnataka Polytechnic College in Kadri.

Mangaluru: With the torrential rains causing widespread chaos along the west coast of India, the Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has set up a public centre for the collection of relief materials for flood victims in the Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu districts in Karnataka and also for the state of Kerala.  

A team of officials has been deployed to collect relief materials for victims of the floods. The relief materials for victims of the floods will be collected from 9:00 AM to 6:30 pm at Karnataka Polytechnic College in Kadri.

The relief materials that may be donated are:

  • Bed sheets (New)
  • Carpets
  • Cooking Items (vessels, rice, tea powder, coffee powder, cooking oil packets and salt).
  • Biscuits/Bread
  • Medicines
  • Water Bottles
  • Cloths
  • Towels, Soap, Brush, Toothpaste.
  • Torchlight
  • Notebooks for students
  • Sanitaries
