Punjalkatte: Co-operative society staff assaulted by customer; video goes viral

Punjalkatte: A man assaulted a cooperative society staff on Wednesday in Punjalkatte for allegedly cheating customers. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

The man accused the cooperative society of taking loans worth lakhs in their names. He then assaulted one of the staff members standing near the gate.

Meanwhile, a member of the cooperative society, who was investigating the alleged misappropriation of money in the association as per the order of the High Court, intervened and asked the customer to give a statement in front of the consumer inquiry officer.

The injured staff was admitted to a nearby hospital.
