Raichur: 2 youths held for hunting rabbit to make TikTok video

Raichur: Two youths from Sarjapur village in the taluk have been arrested for hunting a rabbit and sharing the video on the social network.

The accused are identified as Pavan Nayak and Swami Nayak, residents of Sarjapur. As per sources, they hunted the rabbit and skinned it. A video of the act was uploaded on TikTok.

As the video went viral, the forest department staff have captured the two youths. During the interrogation, the youth have accepted the crime.

After the investigation, the Forest department officials handed over the accused to judicial custody.
